Dave the five-year-old rescued Rottweiler is a friendly giant and a real big softie. He rears stray baby animals including bunnies, kittens and ducklings. Not only does Dave help clean and keep them company at night, he even gives them toilet training and swimming lessons! Dave is also a superhero at his local PDSA and is on constant standby to give blood in emergencies. He has saved the lives of a number of seriously ill animals. For this reason, we think Dave is a Top Dog!

Lilly is certainly no ordinary moggy but a cat with a sixth sense! Her owner’s son has epilepsy. When he is about to fit, Lilly can immediately sense something is wrong. Normally a placid cat, she runs around the house meowing at top volume to alert Nathan’s mother Tracy. On one occasion Nathan was fitting so badly, he stopped breathing however Lilly didn’t move from his side, nudging and nibbling him until he was out of danger. For this reason, we think Lilly is a Top Cat!
